Volunteer Sexual Assault Counselor

Volunteers will provide immediate support and crisis intervention via a 24-Hour hotline and offer individual and group counseling to survivors. They will also accompany survivors to hospitals and assist with legal advocacy and community outreach.

Candidates must be compassionate communicators with strong interpersonal skills and be at least one year past their own assault experience. They must also commit to a 40-Hour training program and be substance-Use-Free for at least one year.
