- Category: NursingIn an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Perioperative Education Coordinator is responsible for coordinating education and quality improvement services. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.

- Functions: Coordinates monthly education/validation for staff. Orientation specialist for all OR employees. Ensures that education and quality are maintained and reviewed through the department. Provides/Oversees equipment/product education. Functions as liaison for students and visitors. Assists with survey preparation in conjunction with clinical nurse manager. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.

- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with a current Licensure in the State of Ohio as a Registered Nurse. Three years of experience in surgical services required. BLS certification preferred.
