About the role

You will develop and deliver individualized lessons aligned with IEP goals while managing classroom behavior to ensure a safe learning environment. Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and families to track student progress and support their academic and behavioral development.

As a Special Education Teacher at River Rock Academy, you will create engaging, individualized learning experiences that help students succeed academically and behaviorally.

You’ll develop lessons aligned with each student’s IEP goals, foster positive classroom culture, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent progress and support.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification. Experience in developing IEPs and behavior support plans, along with strong classroom leadership and communication skills, is required.
