Child Life Specialist

The child life specialist will assess the developmental, psychosocial, and intellectual needs of pediatric patients and plan therapeutic programs to reduce stress and anxiety. They will also provide psychosocial support and facilitate play experiences to promote emotional and intellectual growth.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in child life, child development, or a closely related field, with a preference for a master's degree. A minimum of 600 hours of verified internship experience and certification as a child life specialist are required.
