Behavioral Health Specialist I

The behavioral health specialist i is responsible for providing care and safety to children and adolescents as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team. This includes maintaining a therapeutic environment, participating in patient care planning, and documenting observations and interventions.

A baccalaureate degree in a human service field is preferred, along with six months to one year of direct childcare work with emotionally impaired youth. Candidates must demonstrate an aptitude for learning role-Related skills and knowledge necessary for patient care.
