The behavioral health specialist i is responsible for providing care and safety to children and adolescents, participating in the development and implementation of therapeutic milieu care plans. They engage with patients, maintain documentation, and support the treatment team in various capacities.

A baccalaureate degree in a human service field is preferred, along with six months to one year of direct childcare work with emotionally impaired youth. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage crisis situations and provide care across the lifespan.
