Paraprofessional, 1:1 secondary special education

The paraprofessional provides individualized academic, behavioral, and daily living support to secondary students with disabilities as outlined in their ieps. They also assist with data collection and classroom management under the direction of a special education teacher.

Candidates must meet district paraprofessional qualifications and complete required training in de-Escalation and physical restraint. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transporting students and providing medically invasive procedures as trained.
