Lactation Consultant Nurse, Falls Church MOB

The lactation consultant nurse coordinates newborn care and provides comprehensive lactation support to mothers in the postpartum period. They also facilitate staff education, manage lactation protocols, and maintain accurate clinical records for quality assurance.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with at least two years of nursing experience, including one year in a pediatric or ob-Gyn setting. Required credentials include an ibclc certification, bls, and the ability to obtain nursing licenses in maryland, virginia, and the district of columbia.
