  • Type: Full Time We are hiring a Lower School Counselor to serve as a long-term substitute during a maternity leave, beginning August 1, 2026 and continuing through early November 2026. This role is designed to provide day-to-day support for the social-emotional and behavioral needs of students in Lower School.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling support with students and parents Consult with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to assist in meeting the needs of students Conduct classroom classes for Kindergarten through Fourth Grade focused on social emotional learning and wellnes Work collaboratively with Lower School Learning Specialist to support the needs of students and familie Maintain current and appropriate resources for use with all constituents Conduct observations of students Conduct additional responsibilities as assigned by direct supervisor QualificationsMA, MEd or MS in Counseling, School Counseling, or School Social Work required. Counseling Experience in a school setting required. Licensed School Counselor K-12, LCMHCA, LCMHC, or LCSW preferred Minimum of three years of experience preferred.
