Lifeguard

The lifeguard maintains safe swimming conditions and provides constant surveillance of the pool and surrounding areas. They respond to emergencies, maintain records, and ensure compliance with safety rules and ymca policies.

Candidates must have ymca lifeguard or american red cross lifeguard certification and current bls, basic first aid, and oxygen administration certifications. They must also demonstrate lifeguard skills and maintain all required certifications.
