Preschool Teacher

The preschool teacher plans and implements a developmentally appropriate and inclusive curriculum for children in the head start program. They are also responsible for conducting home visits, maintaining child progress records, and facilitating parent conferences.

Candidates must possess an associate degree in early childhood education or a related field and hold a child development associate teacher permit. Additionally, they must have current pediatric cpr, first aid, and food handler certifications.
