The officer is responsible for maintaining access control, conducting premises patrols, and utilizing video surveillance to deter illicit activity. They must also respond to security, facilities, and medical emergencies while assisting visitors and clients.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, three years of full-time security experience, and certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED. Prior de-escalation training and personal transportation are also required.
Maintain access control over designated access points, responsible for visitor access management Utilize video surveillance systems Conduct tours / patrols of the interior and exterior premises Detect and deter illicit activity, including loitering, trespass and other transient activity Assists clients, business visitors and guests Respond to security, facilities and medical emergencies May visit and respond to other Centers in the vicinity Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 3 years of security officer experience operating in a full time capacity, which may include military or law enforcement service Prior de-escalation training First Aid / CPR / AED certifications Personal transportation This is an unarmed position At this time, Bright Horizons will not sponsor an applicant for employment authorization/visa for this position.

The hourly rate for this position is between $25.00 - $29.00 per hour. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
