Remote Coding Quality and Education Specialist- HIM ED Charging

The specialist coordinates staff development and performs quality assurance reviews to ensure ethical reimbursement and compliance with coding guidelines. They also provide education to coders and physicians while serving as a resource for complex coding questions.

Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience in complex inpatient or outpatient coding within an acute care setting. A relevant certification such as cpc, coc, ccs, rhia, or rhit is required.
