Sentara Health Corporate Office is hiring an Education Specialist-Inpatient Case Management to support Regional Inpatient Case Management Teams. This is a full-time 40 hour per week day shift position.
Requirements
-Bachelor Degree in Nursing BSN -3 years Case Management/acute care -1 year Education/Training experience - Certification in Case Management (ACM, CCM, CCCTM or RN-BC) required. If not certified, certification must be completed within one year of hire. The Education Specialist - Inpatient Case Management supports the orientation and ongoing preceptorship of all new staff, managers, residents, medical staff and physician advisors. Assists with the coordination of educational classes, to include medical necessity and technology as well as in services to obtain knowledge, maintain case management certification and stay current on topics impacting care coordination initiatives across the continuum.
