Group exercise instructors inspire, motivate, and create and deliver effective and safe group exercise classes in a professional and friendly atmosphere for class participants with varying fitness levels. Openings include general group exercise and fitness classes, as well as specialty class formats (i.e., indoor cycle, cardio dance, strength/conditioning).
$25-30 per hour, $2,600 – $4,700 per year.
Candidates must hold an accredited fitness instructor certification (e.g., AFAA, ACE, ACSM, Schwinn) and Adult CPR & AED certification. Experience in group instruction and a successful audition are required.
