Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher assumes full classroom responsibilities, including implementing lesson plans and maintaining daily schedules. They also manage classroom behavior, maintain cleanliness, and serve as an advocate for the head start program and families.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or ged and at least one year of experience working with infants and toddlers. A child development associate (Cda) certificate or an associate degree in early childhood education is preferred.
