These locations include targeted schools and community settings serving young people ages 11–24. This position facilitates program delivery and site development through program awareness and youth engagement. Qualifications BA/ BS degree in education, adult education, sociology, psychology, or a related field Two or more years of experience working with opportunity youth, the nonprofit sector, social services, or a related field Experience facilitating trainings and workshops for youth with diverse needs Experience with workforce readiness and cognitive behavioral change preferred Strong ability to engage, lead, and teach youth participants Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to set priorities, manage a work schedule, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Ability to bring energy, inspiration, and connection to individuals with diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and comprehension levels High level of initiative, professionalism, and a positive attitude Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a strong team environment Availability for flexible work hours to meet the needs of participants and their families Completion of all position-specific and required YMCA training within established deadlines
