Student Nurse Clinical Placement

The nursing student supports the hemodialysis health care team by providing safe dialysis therapy and performing clinical duties under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Responsibilities include machine operation, patient monitoring, lab preparation, and maintaining a safe, clean clinical environment.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a nursing program, having completed at least three quarters of an adn program, the junior year of a bsn program, or two years of a nursing school program. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged standing in a healthcare setting.
