- Justin Martyr Catholic School is seeking a Grades 6–8 English Language Arts Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year.
- The teacher is responsible for providing instruction aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum standards while supporting the mission and philosophy of Catholic education.
Responsibilities
Teach English Language Arts to students in grades 6–8 Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons in reading, writing, grammar, and literature Assess student learning and maintain required academic records Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Maintain a positive, structured, and faith‑centered learning environment Communicate effectively with parents and school staff Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or related field Missouri teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain) Middle school teaching experience preferred Familiarity with Catholic education preferred
