Develop and implement a broad range of educational and recreational activities for youth in grades K-8. Ensure the safety, structure, and learning environment while supervising participants during programs and field trips.

QualificationsSkills / Knowledge Required: Minimum High School Diploma / GED. Minimum of two years' work experience in a non-profit agency. Must be at least 18 years old. Experience working with youth. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Ability to complete medical and DOHMH/DOE clearances and fingerprints including that an annual physical has been completed in the last year. Activity Specialists must show experience and competency in the material they would like to teach. A sample lesson will be part of the interview process.
