NCPK Teacher Assistant

The teacher assistant is responsible for planning and implementing learning experiences that support the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children. They must also maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment while fostering positive relationships with families and co-Workers.

Candidates must hold an associate of arts degree in early childhood education or a preschool child development associate (Cda) credential. The role requires the physical ability to monitor children, lift up to 35 lbs, and effectively communicate with diverse groups.
