Core responsibilities
The 1
1 aide will work directly with an assigned student to implement behavior support plans and meet goals outlined in their individualized education plan (Iep). They are responsible for tracking behavioral data, providing personal care, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment through de-Escalation and crisis management.
Requirements summary
The position requires a high school diploma and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and moving swiftly. Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs is preferred.
