Core responsibilities
The virtual special education teacher is responsible for writing and implementing individualized education plans (Ieps) and participating in the multi-Tiered system of supports (Mtss). They will provide instruction to students, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with staff and parents to support student learning and behavioral goals.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold a current west virginia teaching certification and possess strong content knowledge in relevant areas. A master's degree and at least three years of teaching experience, including two years in special education, are preferred.
