Special Education Teacher, Emotional Behavior Support K-2

The teacher will coordinate and provide direct instructional programs for special education students, including the development and implementation of individual education programs (Ieps). They are also responsible for monitoring student progress, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with school staff and families to support student needs.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is also required, with preferred qualifications including first aid, cpr, and cpi certifications.
