Special Education Teacher, AST/Behavior Support Team Teacher

The teacher coordinates and provides direct instructional programs for special education students, including developing and implementing individual education programs (Ieps). They also monitor student progress, manage classroom behavior, and collaborate with the school team to ensure student needs are met.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and be eligible for a north carolina professional educator’s license in an exceptional children’s teaching area. A valid motor vehicle operator’s license is also required, with preferred certifications in first aid, cpr, and crisis prevention and intervention.
