Core responsibilities
The transition coordinator supports students with disabilities in achieving employment and independence by coordinating vocational programming and community-Based experiences. They act as a liaison between merakey, the office of vocational rehabilitation, and local employers to ensure students meet their transition goals.
Requirements summary
Candidates must hold an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in human services, education, social work, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in ovr and a valid driver’s license are required.
