PALS, Inc. is a trauma-informed company providing services for adults with intellectual Disabilities in Santa Barbara, Los Angeles and Ventura counties. We are currently seeking a professional to provide full or part-time hours as the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for our Santa Barbara day program office as well as for our residential facility located in Carpinteria.
We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled clinician who is familiar with and/or willing to learn about the philosophy and practice of person-centered care. This is a great opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Your service area will we the Santa Barbara and/or the Carpinteria programs. We Some work may be performed remotely. Some driving required.
What You’ll Do Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) Create and oversee individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) Train and support direct support staff and caregivers Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (e.g., case managers, nurses, therapists) Monitor data and outcomes, modifying interventions as needed Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards What We’re Looking For Active BCBA certification Master’s degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field At least 2 years of experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities Experience supporting individuals with trauma preferred Strong clinical and communication skills Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
