Core responsibilities
The role involves ensuring the safety and security of assigned youth through direct supervision while providing and ensuring compassionate therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities also include engaging positively with youth, teaching appropriate behaviors, providing reinforcement, and assisting with activities of daily living skills.
Requirements summary
Applicants must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, and have a high school diploma or ged; a bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred. Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, behavioral disorders, or autism spectrum disorders is preferred, and attendance at a 2-Week paid orientation is mandatory.
