Direct Support Professional - 1st Shift

The direct support professional will provide consistent support and supervision to participants in day programs, assisting with daily living activities like hygiene and feeding, and facilitating structured activities and community outings. Key duties also involve supporting individual goals, promoting independence, and accurately documenting participant progress, behaviors, and incidents.

Candidates should ideally possess a high school diploma or ged, though it is preferred, along with prior experience working with individuals with disabilities in relevant settings. Essential attributes include the ability to remain calm under stress, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.
