Early Childhood Substitute Teacher

Substitute teachers support early head start and head start classrooms by maintaining daily routines and a safe, engaging environment for children. They assist with caregiving tasks, implement the highscope curriculum, and provide responsive support to children with diverse developmental needs.

Candidates must hold at least an associate degree in a relevant field or be in progress with completion expected within one year. Experience with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers is preferred, along with the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds.
