School Personal Care Assistant

Assistants will support students in a charter school setting by implementing individualized behavioral and educational strategies outlined in positive behavior support plans. Key duties include collecting behavioral data, monitoring progress, and teaching functional replacement skills to promote student independence.

Candidates should have experience or interest in working with children with developmental or behavioral needs and must be able to follow behavior plans using positive strategies. A minimum requirement is an associate degree or higher in a related field, or completion of a 40-Hour registered behavior technician (Rbt) training course.
