Under the supervision of the Director or designee, the non-credit lecturer is accountable for the effective performance in these essential duties:
Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, English/Composition, Linguistics, Foreign Language, or Education.
Two (2) years of teaching college level ESL courses.
Prior experience in Course work for adult education certification in ESL or Certificate in TESOL
Ability to present curriculum in a classroom or lab environment.
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
