The Direct Support Professional provides individualized services to clients in various settings, collects data on client behaviors, and summarizes this data for review. They also conduct sessions aimed at improving clients' communication, life skills, and social interactions.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities. A California Driver's License and the ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. are also required.
Under the direct supervision of the Program Director, the Direct Support Professional provides individualized services in the facility, community, and vocational settings, collects data, and summarizes data on observable client behaviors.
