Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher acts as the primary caregiver in the absence of a regular teacher, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Responsibilities include implementing educational activities, maintaining classroom discipline, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families.

A high school diploma or ged is required, with preference given to candidates possessing dcf 45-Hour training and prior childcare experience. Candidates must also maintain current certifications in first aid, cpr, and complete ongoing professional development training.
