Assistant Coach, Men's Soccer
Part-time (Seasonal)
Bucks County Community College invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach for the Men's Soccer Team. The Assistant Coach is responsible for supporting the head coach in executing the organization, administration and coaching of the Men’s Soccer program.
Primary Duties
Support and assist the head coach to execute a clearly defined philosophy of coaching and teaching Soccer.
Drive College or rental van for away competitions as needed.
Recruit sufficient qualified student-athletes.
Assist head coach with game preparation, home and away competition procedures.
Tracks and inventories equipment, uniforms, and reports deficiencies.
Assist with student-athletes’ academic progress and provide support.
Support and assist with retention initiatives in conjunction with the Director, Athletics including enforcing Student Athlete Success Agenda.
Assist with fundraising activities, to meet teams’ financial goals.
Display a commitment to equality in player development and training.
Assist preparing team for competition.
Assist in creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging student experience.
Coordinate the collection of team statistics for each game.
Comply with College, USCAA, NCAA rules and regulations and all other aspects of directing a quality intercollegiate Men's Soccer program.
Act as a mandatory reporter for student issues and concerns and potential Title IX and College Code of Conduct violations.
Coach as a professional, mentor, and excellent representative of the values of Bucks County Community College.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all required background checks and clearances. These include, but are not limited to, a Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check and verification of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. This position requires the operation of a motor vehicle as part of the job duties. Therefore, candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and successfully complete a motor vehicle records check in addition to standard background screening requirements.
Season Salary $4,000
