  • Range: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 CommissionNotre Dame Preparatory School (NDP), an independent, Catholic school for girls in grades 6-12 in Towson, MD, is seeking a Head Coach for the Junior Varsity Volleyball team. Founded in 1873 by the School Sisters of Notre Dame, NDP is rooted in tradition but contemporary in education empowering its students to become women who transform the world. The right candidates will enjoy working in a mission-driven, religious educational setting. Employment is part-time/seasonal, beginning mid-August 2026.
  • Approximate season dates: August 17, 2026 to November 8, 2026. Work effort is approximately 10 – 15 hours per week.

Overview

Qualified candidates will coach the team, coordinate and organize team selections, plan and execute practice sessions, manage game day preparation and in-game coaching and execution as well as manage team communications.

Responsibilities

Attend and run daily practice from 3:30pm - 5:30pm Mondays to Fridays per week. Potential morning or weekend practices, if needed. Attend team’s games, typically weekdays throughout the season. Work with a group of adolescent athletes in coaching volleyball and life skills. Potential to host Volleyball camps in off-season (school breaks, summer, etc.) QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess: High school coaching experience Experience as a competitive athlete at the high school or college level CPR certifications preferred Willingness to work collaboratively with student athletes, coaching staff, athletics staff and parents Strong communication and organizational skills.
