The coach will lead the middle school soccer team by planning practices, managing game day execution, and coordinating team selections. They are also responsible for team communications and mentoring adolescent athletes in both soccer and life skills.
Candidates should have middle school coaching experience and a background as a competitive athlete at the high school or college level. A 4-year degree is listed as the education level, and CPR certification is preferred.
Qualified candidates will coach the team, coordinate and organize team selections, plan and execute practice sessions, manage game day preparation and in-game coaching and execution as well as manage team communications.
Attend and run daily practice from 3:20pm - 4:30pm Mondays to Thursdays each week. Attend team’s games, typically weekdays throughout the season. Work with a group of adolescent athletes in coaching soccer and life skills. Potential to assist with Soccer camps in off-season (school breaks, summer, etc.) QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess: Middle school coaching experience Experience as a competitive athlete at the high school or college level CPR certifications preferred Willingness to work collaboratively with student athletes, coaching staff, athletics staff and parents Strong communication and organizational skills.
