Bilingual Cultural Mentor – Summer Learning Academy

The mentor acts as a liaison between district staff, students, and parents, specifically supporting those who speak languages other than english. They provide academic assistance to esl students and interpret for families and teachers during the summer learning academy.

Candidates must have an associate's degree, two years of college, or a passing score on the parapro assessment test. Additionally, one year of experience in translating or mentoring within an instructional or bilingual setting is required.
