The instructor will provide one-to-one or small group academic instruction for K-8 students across core subjects, focusing on skill development, homework completion, and academic independence. Sophos Speech and Academics is seeking a Private Academic Instructor to provide individualized academic support for students in kindergarten through 8th grade across core subject areas including reading, writing, math, and study skills.
Instruction is provided in person at assigned locations including the Sophos learning center, partner school campuses, and student homes.
This is an independent contractor position.
Contractors may accept or decline student referrals based on availability and area of expertise.
Assignments depend on client demand and scheduling compatibility.
Hours are not guaranteed.
Service Window Weekday availability between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM is required in order to be eligible for referrals.
Compensation $30 to $35 per instructional hour, depending on experience and services provided.
