Job description

  • Sophos Speech and Academics is looking for an Educational Remediation Specialist with a passion for students first, and instruction second. An Educational Remediation Specialist will work with students to help improve general concept mastery. Our Remediation Specialists are trusted experts; therefore, have the autonomy to utilize instructional methods and curricula of their choosing.
  • Work with small groups of students or 1-on-1 with students who are struggling to grasp grade-level language arts concepts
  • Collaborate with parents and teachers
  • Available during some or most of the required times (8am-2pm)
  • Able to commute to Sophos Speech and Academics, 11250 N. Tatum Blvd, C-104
  • Personable and genuinely enjoys being around children
  • Able to listen well and respond to the data provided by teachers
  • Professional and reliable

Ideally, this instructor would be confident in Executive Function/Language Arts/Math

Job Type: Contractor

Salary: $30-$35/hour
