What the Occupational Therapist Does Provide diagnostic and therapeutic occupational therapy services to students Develop and implement IEP‑aligned occupational therapy programs Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, families, and LEAs Attend IEP meetings and related student meetings Provide individual, group, and classroom‑based therapy services Complete evaluations, treatment notes, and quarterly progress reports Serve as a consultant and resource to staff and families Qualifications Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license required Prior school‑based or special education experience preferred
