Special Education Assistant

The position involves assisting special education teachers with classroom instruction, material preparation, and student supervision. Incumbents also reinforce classroom lessons and provide direct support to students with disabilities.

Candidates must hold an associate's degree, have completed 48 semester hours of college, or passed the parapro assessment. Additionally, one year of experience working with children and current cpr/First aid certification are preferred.
