Instructors lead both on‑ice and off‑ice activities while helping skaters develop fundamental skills, confidence, and a love for figure skating.

- Requirements: Lead on‑ice instruction focusing on skating fundamentals, edges, stroking, turns, basic jumps, spins, and performance skills appropriate to skater ability. Supervise and participate in off‑ice activities, including warm‑ups, stretching, conditioning, games, and team‑building activities. Assist with a weekly field trip to the local park district pool, ensuring skater safety, engagement, and positive behavior. Adapt instruction to various ages, skill levels, and learning styles. Encourage confidence, sportsmanship, teamwork, and respectful behavior on and off the ice. Maintain a safe environment by enforcing equipment requirements and following rink, camp, and SafeSport guidelines. Support daily camp operations including setup, group transitions, and schedule flow. Interact professionally with campers, parents, and fellow staff as a positive representative of the program.
