Job Overview

Berkeley College seeks motivated adjunct faculty to teach in the Graduate Nursing Department. Position sits at the Woodland Park, NJ, campus.

To provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in their courses and pass any licensure and/or certification examination and enter and progress in the program. The philosophy of Berkeley College requires that all education, training and preparation be conducted in a professional manner to meet both student and employer needs.

Hourly Range: $65-$75

Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Developing and revising MSN courses
  • Teaching and advising students
  • Improving student outcomes by utilizing a variety of instructional delivery methods, including technology and other innovative approaches
  • Maintaining and submitting appropriate individual student records
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Candidate must have an earned doctoral degree in nursing. Individuals enrolled in a doctoral degree program will be considered. Three (3) years of successful graduate program teaching experience in a post-secondary setting is preferred. Candidates must have excellent skills in communication, organization, technology, and collaboration.
