Job Overview

To provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in their courses and pass any licensure and/or certification examination and enter and progress in the program. The philosophy of Berkeley College requires that all education, training and preparation be conducted in a professional manner to meet both student and employer needs.Berkeley College seeks highly qualified and motivated part-time instructors to teach didactic, laboratory, and clinical courses in the Nursing Department.

Teaching assignments vary by term, and this position sits at the Woodland Park, NJ, location.

Hourly Range: $55-$75

Job Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in Nursing (doctoral preferred) and three years’ clinical experience in Maternal/Child, Mental Health, or Medical/Surgical
  • Demonstrated success in teaching at an institution of higher education
  • A willingness to travel and teach at off-site clinical facilities, if applicable
  • An ability to teach classes during the day, the evening and/or the weekend
  • Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning
  • Experience using a Learning Management System such as Canvas
