Athletics Counselor

The counselor provides direct mental health services, including therapy and crisis intervention, to students with an emphasis on student athletes. They also conduct preventative workshops and provide consultation to faculty and staff regarding student mental health.

Candidates must be licensed or in the process of obtaining licensure in california as a psychologist, marriage and family therapist, professional clinical counselor, or social worker. Experience working with diverse populations and providing counseling in a mental health setting is required.
