Practice for this role

About the role

The position involves the administration of internship programs within the university. Specific duties are currently unavailable as the job description is pending update.

The Newcomb-Tulane College Career Service’s vision is to meet and engage with each student where they are on their unique career journey.

The Program Administrator plays a central role in advancing the Mussafer Internship Initiative by supporting the coordination, implementation, and scaling of internship and applied learning opportunities for undergraduate students.

Working closely with the Director of the Mussafer Internship Initiative and campus partners, this position helps design and manage student-facing programs, engagement strategies, and operational processes that expand access to meaningful, mentored internship experiences.

The role contributes to building structured pathways that connect classroom learning with real-world application while supporting students’ preparation, participation, and reflection throughout the internship journey.

In addition, the Program Administrator oversees the management and optimization of technology platforms that support the initiative, including the development and administration of experiential learning pathways within the Suitable system.

In collaboration with academic units, Career Services teams, and other campus stakeholders, the role supports the design and implementation of digital pathways that guide student engagement and track participation in internship readiness activities.

The position also contributes to event coordination, employer and alumni engagement support, and the collection and analysis of participation and outcomes data to inform continuous improvement and demonstrate the impact of the Initiative within Tulane’s broader applied learning ecosystem.
