We’re seeking a dynamic, inspiring coach who thrives on cultivating confidence, discipline, and a love for the sport in every athlete, regardless of age or experience. This is more than just teaching skills it’s about mentoring, fostering teamwork, celebrating progress, and creating an environment where every gymnast feels challenged, supported, and empowered. If you bring energy, creativity, and a passion for helping athletes reach their fullest potential, we want you on our team!

  • EXPECTATIONS: Must be able to attend all team practices (4 nights a week) and occasionally weekend meets. May also be responsible for coaching some pre-team and recreational classes. Is familiar with and has worked with USA Gymnastics guidelines for all Xcel levels. Follows all YMCA as well as the Gymnastics studios Rules & policies.

  • Age requirements: Must be over the age of 21. Must have team coaching experience. Must be SafeSport certified. Willingness to accept responsibility. Be Enthusiastic and positive while coaching. Must be able to lift & move gymnastics equipment up to 40lbs. Possess effective Teaching & Coaching skills. Possess proper spotting techniques. Possess organizational skills.

Requirements

Candidates must be over 21 years old, possess prior team coaching experience, and hold a SafeSport certification. The role requires the ability to perform proper spotting techniques and lift gymnastics equipment weighing up to 40lbs.
