The adjunct instructor is responsible for teaching history classes using both traditional and alternative delivery methods. They report to the Division Chair of Social Sciences and Business to support the department's academic needs.
This position requires one of the following: Master’s Degree in History Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in History [Degrees can focus on Public History, Regional History (e.g., American, European, Asian) or Period History (e.g., medieval, modern Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods Excellent written and oral communication skills Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern Association (SACS) minimum educational credentials are met
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in History or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in History. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, along with an interest in alternative instructional delivery methods.
