• Waubonsee Community College is seeking applications for a part-time instructor for Developmental Math courses.
• Adjunct Faculty are responsible for providing instruction and assessing student learning through both formative and summative methods.
• This position requires a professional with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively utilize instructional and classroom technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Reporting to the Dean, Adjunct Faculty prepare course syllabi and design lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to address diverse learning styles and ensure students meet course objectives and outcomes.
• They incorporate learner-centered principles and concepts, motivating students to actively engage in all aspects of the educational experience.
• Adjunct Faculty are also responsible for student evaluations and for timely and accurate reporting, such as attendance verifications, academic progress, and final course grades.

Successful Adjunct Faculty employ a holistic approach to student success, bringing passion and enthusiasm to the classroom. For the Summer 2026 term, applicants must have availability and specific experience with one of the following class(es) (all classes are In-person): MTH 107 Basic Statistics & MTH 087 Supplemental DWNTN Aurora Campus on TTH from 8-11:30 a.m. Essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to: Designing syllabi, lessons, activities, assignments, and assessments to meet the established course description, as well as program, course, and college learning outcomes and/or objectives while addressing each student’s needs as diverse learners.
